Body Image Disorder in the News

Distorted Self-image In Body Image Disorder Due To Visual Brain Glitch, Study Suggests

ScienceDaily (Dec. 12, 2007) — Although they look normal, people suffering from body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) perceive themselves as ugly and disfigured. New imaging research reveals that the brains of people with BDD look normal, but function abnormally when processing visual details. The UCLA findings are the first to demonstrate a biological reason for patients’ distorted body image.

Jessica Simpson to make a country album. Guh! Worst news ever.

Jessica Simpson has started working on her country music album in Nashville. The new album is due sometime this year. Jessica spoke with Billboard about going cuntry.
She refused to say who she’s working with, probably because she’s not working with anyone. She said, “Writing is a release for me. It’s a way for me to tell my story. That’s not to say I wouldn’t record a song that I didn’t write. It’s just that it has been a while since I have opened the book.” She’s so funny. Like she knows what a book is.
She said she chose country, because she’s a cuntry girl at heart. “I grew up in Texas, and country music was what I listened to. I always wanted to make a country album, but I wanted to wait until the time was right.”
I’ve got news, now isn’t the right time either. The right time is…well..NEVER! Everything Jess touches turns to poo and she just needs to take all her money, invest that crap and go away.

I love coke more than pepsi, always have. I’m drinking some right now. This news article got me remembering all the different ads celebs have done over the years to try and get us to drink one or the other. Don’t think I’d ever switch to Pepsi because Britney dumbass Spears drank it.
